Wayanad Cycling Tour

Bike through tea and coffee country to a speed boat ride between islands and then hike to a mountain stream

You start off after breakfast trying out the bikes, learning to use the gears and negotiating climbs. You will pedal down the achingly beautiful landscape of South Wayanad passing through tea gardens, coffee estates and forest.

You will reach the shoreline of a picturesque reservoir and will follow the winding road to reach the dam. You will halt for lunch close to the dam and stroll around the grounds.

You will board the speed boat and thread your way across the 64sq.km Lake. The lake is dotted with little forested islands, the remains of hilltops submerged by the rising waters. The boat ride among the islands gives you an unmatched experience of this magical land.

If time allows you will hike to the nearby waterfalls and dive into the many rock pools in the clear mountain stream.
